Hands-On Suturing II

Financial Assistance Available for

We are excited to announce this first opportunity for financial assistance for Hands-On Suturing II, and the first time we are using our Expanded Green Bottle Method worksheet. This process will allow potential recipients to self-score their needs based on a comprehensive yet simple system.

In addition to the questions created in the original Green Bottle sliding scale shown below (created by Alexis J Cunningfolk), we have added additional questions regarding:

  • Generational Wealth & Family Support
  • Educational Privilege & Earning Power
  • Caregiving Responsibilities
  • Disability-Related Factors
  • Discrimination & Identity-Based Barriers
  • Additional Systemic Barriers

The worksheet asks a total of 16 questions, and can be completed in less than 5 minutes.

Equitable Access funds may be applied to:

  • The March 2026 session of Hands-On Suturing II, or
  • Hands-On Suturing II Instant Access

Application and registration process:

  1. Email [email protected] to request a worksheet
  2. Complete the worksheet, and email your total score to [email protected]
  3. Depending on your score, you will receive financial assistance of 0% to 75%. Determination is based on level of need, and funds available.

FAQ

  • Where do the financial assistance funds come from?

Profits from our Cultural Competency courses were set aside in 2025 for the purpose of increasing equitable access to continuing education. This is our first project using those funds.

  • Will this be available for other sessions of Hands-On Suturing II?

This is a pilot program. Depending on how it goes, and the feedback we receive, this may be expanded to other sessions of Hands-On Suturing II, other courses on HiveCE, or even courses outside HiveCE.
